Kind Act to self:
· A daily PE/Walking program. As a school, classes participated in a walking program where teachers walked with students on a daily basis, and accumulated kilometres towards our walk to Australia. We started our walk in early November and completed our walk by late February.
· Eating fresh fruit and/or fresh vegetables for lunch to be kind to ourselv
Kind Act to the environment:
· using re-usable lunch containers to be kind to the environment
· Students and classes also pick up the litter around the school, and are encouraged to keep our playground neat and clean.
Kind Act you performed and your experience as a "giver":
1. Coin drive for food for N. Koreans where students initiated the collection. We raised over $500.00.
2. Books for new elementary school in Perth, Australia, where the exchange teacher was beginning at when she returned to Australia from Canada
